Secara tidak langsung kajian ini cuba mencari kesinambungan di antara kebimbangan yang dialami oleh kakitangan tersebut dengan komitmen terhadap organisasi mereka sekarang. Justeru itu kajian ini dilakukan dengan menetapkan tiga objektif iaitu untuk mengenalpasti samada ada hubungan di antara kebimbangan dan komitmen organisasi; untuk mengenalpasti hubungan di antara kebimbangan keadaan (stateanxiety) dengan komitmen organisasi; dan untuk mengenalpasti hubungan diantara kebimbangan sifat (trait-anxiety) dengan komitmen organisasi. Bagi mencapai objektif ini, pengkaji telah menjalankan kajian secara populasi yang melibatkan 140 orang responden. Instrumen Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) oleh Mowday et al. (1974) digunakan bagi mengukur komitmen organisasi dan instrumen State-Trait Anxiety (STAI) oleh Spielberger (1969) pula untuk mengesan kebimbangan keadaan (state-anxiety) dan kebimbangan sifat (trait-anxiety). Hasil daripada kajian ini mendapati hubungan songsang yang signifikan di antara kebimbangan keadaan dengan komitmen organisasi dan hubungan songsang yang signifikan di antara kebimbangan sifat dengan komitmen organisasi. Kajian ini mencadangkan pihak pengurusan memberikan penjelasan terperinci tentang dasar penswastaan dan mementingkan kebajikan, keselesaan dan komitmen, pekerja; dan tahap kepercayaan dan bebanan tugas pekerja perlu diambilkira untuk meningkatkan komitmen pekerja.
