总结:The purpose of this study is to examine the job satisfaction of Full-time Student Counsellors from the secondary school in the district of Kulim/Bandar Baharu, Kedah Darul Aman and the specific factors contributed to it. Thirty-three student caunsellors participated in the study. The instruments used in this study consist of structured questionnaires, namely Job Descriptive Index and the Index of Job Satisfaction. The quantitative analysis method was used to analyse the questionnaires. In this study, the job satisfaction was the dependent variable. The independent variables consist of working condition, salary, promotion, supervision, working colleagues, level of education and demograhphic factors (age and gender). The data were analysed by using the Pearson Correlation to find the relationship. The t-test and ANOVA test were used to investigate the significant differences. The major findings of this study were 69.9% of the respondents that is 23 student counsellors showed a low level of job satisfaction while only 30.4% or 10 student counsellors indicated that they had a high level of job satisfaction. There was a significant relationship between promotion, supervision and working colleagues in the student counsellors job satisfaction. However, it was found that working condition and salary do not have a significant relationship with student counsellors from the secondary schools of Kulim/Bandar Baharu district. It was also found that there was no significant differences between gender, age and level of education with the job satisfaction among the Full-time Student Counsellors from the secondary school in the district of Kulim/Bandar Baharu.
