In this research, secondary data from the annual reports were used to study the effect of each corporate governance variables on the performance of the Malaysian public listed companies. The data had undergone descriptive analysis, correlative analysis, reliability analysis and Ordinary Least Square analysis to determine their relationships. The research found that the corporate governance variables overall have no significant impact to explain the performance of the listed companies after the MCCG was revised.
