Description
Summary:Entrepreneurship in Malaysia is not only contributing to economic growth but also enables university students to create their own businesses and provide job opportunities to the society. This study aimed to explore an entrepreneurial inclination among postgraduate students in Universiti Utara Malaysia. Accordingly, the researcher has put forward one variable namely creative personality as one of the variables that influenced entrepreneurial inclination of the postgraduate students. 143 questionnaires were distributed to postgraduate students under Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business. 120 questionnaires were returned and 102 of which provided usable data for the study. This data was analyzed via the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25.0. The multiple regression analysis was conducted to determine the influence of the variables towards entrepreneurial inclination of postgraduate students. The finding showed that the creative personality factor has no significant relationship on the entrepreneurial inclination. In addition, the dimension of creative personality (curiosity, flexibility, useful, originality, unique and confidence) has no significant relationship on the entrepreneurial inclination of postgraduate students. The study further contributes to the existing body of knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship where similar studies are generally scarce. Finally, study limitations and suggestions for and future research are provided and discussed.
