总结:In any organization, employees are considered the most valuable asset. In fact, organization’s overall performance to run smoothly and successfully depends on employee's performance. Organisations tend to use rewards as techniques to increase employee’s performance and in achieving their goals as required. Moreover, effective reward system makes organizational and individual performance better because it motivates employee to perform better, continues improvement and learning increasing organizations’ productivity, quality and solving of organizational problems. The aim of this study is to determine the influence of monetary and nonmonetary rewards on employee's performance in three telecom companies based in Mogadishu, Somalia. In this research, Method that has been chosen is a quantitative approach. Since the research is in quantitative, a questionnaire was designed for data collection as it is the simplest way to gather data from a big number of respondents. For monetary rewards only three factors were taken in this study which are basic pay, cost of living, performance bonus. On the other hand, for non-monetary reward three factors were taken as well which are recognition, learning opportunity, and career advancement. The collected data were discussed and analyzed using SPSS. The hypotheses of the study were tested using Pearson Correlation Coefficient analysis and regression analysis. The result generated was that there is a positive significant relationship between the variables of the study. Based on the results, recommendations and conclusion were made.
