A quantitative research approach was adopted to expand the researchers' scope to selected secondary school in Perlis in order to obtain as much data as possible. In Perlis, 272 teachers in 4 secondary schools were responding. Data were collected through an online questionnaire survey that were created via Google form, and the data shows that there is a connection between emotional intelligence and job performance that can influence secondary school teachers in Perlis. Therefore, these significant findings shed further lights on the theoretical and practical utility of the construct of emotional intelligence and job performance, proven to the fact that Emotional Intelligence is accountable for and could predict Job Performance.
