The objective of this study is to identify the influence of human resource practice on employee retention in public hospitals in Somalia. A survey was sent to 375 employees and 282 of them responded. Data was analyzed by “Statistical Package for Social Science” (SPSS Window) Version 22.0. the regression analysis found that there is a significant relationship between 2 independent variables. The findings found that there was relationship between the independent variables training and development, reward, and working environment and the dependent variable employee retention. The regression result indicated there were positive and significant relationships between training and development, reward, and working environment with employee retention.
