Seramai 278 orang ketua panitia dari 39 buah sekolah</p><p>menengah kebangsaan yang terdapat di negeri Pahang telah terlibat sebagai responden</p><p>kajian. Pemilihan sampel adalah secara persampelan strata. Analisis data kajian adalah</p><p>menggunakan perisian SPSS dan SmartPLS. Analisis deskriptif mendapati komitmen</p><p>kerja (M=4.14, SD=0.416), kompetensi kerja (M=4.16, SD=0.216) dan prestasi kerja</p><p>(M=4.11, SD=0.364) ketua panitia berada pada tahap tinggi. Hasil analisis inferens</p><p>mendapati tidak ada perbezaan komitmen kerja, kompetensi dan prestasi kerja</p><p>berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar. Analisis menggunakan PLS-SEM pula mendapati</p><p>terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kompetensi dengan komitmen kerja (=0.314,</p><p>t=5.271, p<0.05), komitmen kerja dengan prestasi kerja (=0.314, t=5.271, p<0.05) dan</p><p>kompetensi dengan prestasi kerja (=0.106, t=4.789, p<0.05). Selain itu, komitmen</p><p>kerja adalah mediator separa antara hubungan kompetensi dan komitmen kerja</p><p>(=0.106, t=4.789, p<0.05). Kesimpulannya, didapati ketua panitia sekolah menengah</p><p>kebangsaan di Pahang memiliki kompetensi dan komitmen kerja yang tinggi dan</p><p>mampu mempersembahkan ciri-ciri yang diperlukan dalam konteks pekerjaan.</p><p>Implikasi kajian ini dapat menyumbang kepada pengembangan teori dan empirikal</p><p>dengan memberi fokus kepada ketua panitia untuk menambah baik kualiti dalam bidang</p><p>pendidikan selaras dengan matlamat pendidikan yang memberi penekanan dalam</p><p>pengetahuan dan kemahiran profesionalisme dalam membantu sekolah mencapai dan</p><p>meningkatkan lagi kecemerlangan. Kajian ini juga dapat memberi implikasi dari segi</p><p>praktikal kepada PPD, JPN dan KPM khususnya pihak Jemaah Nazir untuk menilai</p><p>kecekapan dan kebolehan dengan memasukkan faktor yang menyumbang kepada</p><p>peningkatan prestasi kerja ketua panitia</p>
