Modul</p><p>Kecerdasan Emosi yang digunakan dalam kajian ini telah diubah suai daripada satu siri</p><p>aktiviti kecerdasan emosi yang dihasilkan oleh Lynn (2002). Tujuan kajian adalah untuk</p><p>mengetahui kesan intervensi Modul Kecerdasan Emosi ke atas kumpulan rawatan</p><p>berbanding kumpulan kawalan. Reka bentuk kajian eksperimen tulen praujianpascaujian</p><p>dengan kumpulan kawalan digunakan di mana pemilihan subjek kajian</p><p>dijalankan secara persampelan rawak melibatkan 67 orang pegawai TLDM daripada 17</p><p>unit kapal di Pangkalan TLDM Lumut. Subjek kajian diagihkan kepada dua kumpulan</p><p>iaitu kumpulan kawalan yang terdiri daripada 35 orang pegawai manakala kumpulan</p><p>rawatan mengandungi 32 orang pegawai. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis</p><p>deskriptif dan inferensi. Kesan rawatan dilihat dengan mengukur skor min kecerdasan</p><p>emosi berdasarkan instrumen Schutte Self-Report Inventory (SSRI), skor min kepuasan</p><p>kerja berdasarkan instrumen Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) dan skor min komitmen</p><p>terhadap organisasi dengan menggunakan instrumen Organizational Commitment</p><p>Questionnaire (OCQ). Dapatan kajian dianalisis dengan menggunakan ujian analisis</p><p>sehala Multivariate Analysis of Variance (one-way MANOVA). Modul Kecerdasan</p><p>Emosi didapati memberikan kesan signifikan terhadap tahap kecerdasan emosi, kepuasan</p><p>kerja dan komitmen terhadap organisasi kumpulan rawatan pada aras signifikan .05 (p</p><p><.05). Hasil ujian Multivariate Pillais Trace dengan nilai [F (3,60) = 48.128, p <.05]</p><p>menunjukkan bahawa Modul Kecerdasan Emosi merupakan faktor yang menyumbang</p><p>kepada peningkatan kecerdasan emosi, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen terhadap</p><p>organisasi. Keputusan ujian Tests of Between-Subjects Effects menunjukkan kesan</p><p>signifikan modul kepada kecerdasan emosi [F (1, 62) = 87.382, p <.05], kepuasan kerja</p><p>[F (1,62) = 13.456, p <.05] dan komitmen terhadap organisasi [F (1,62) = 78.938, p <.05].</p><p>Nilai R2 mendapati bahawa Modul Kecerdasan Emosi telah menyumbang peningkatan</p><p>sebanyak 58.5% (kecerdasan emosi), 17.8% (kepuasan kerja) dan 56% (komitmen</p><p>terhadap organisasi) dalam kumpulan rawatan. Analisis ujian Estimated Marginal Means</p><p>menunjukkan min terubah suai yang lebih tinggi dalam kumpulan rawatan bagi</p><p>kecerdasan emosi (126.313), kepuasan kerja (145.250) dan komitmen terhadap</p><p>organisasi (68.938). Ujian Post Hoc Bonferroni Adjusted Pairwise Comparison</p><p>mengesahkan bahawa perbezaan tersebut adalah signifikan kerana p <.05. Maklum balas</p><p>daripada subjek kajian menunjukkan bahawa intervensi yang dilaksanakan dapat</p><p>membantu meningkatkan kesedaran tentang kecerdasan emosi dan menyarankan modul</p><p>tersebut digunakan sebagai salah satu intervensi kaunseling bagi membantu</p><p>meningkatkan tahap kecerdasan emosi dalam kalangan warga TLDM.</p> |
