A total of 420 children aged 10 to 12 years old participated in this study. This study was conducted at selected primary schools in Teluk Intan, Perak. The height and weight (antropometric measurement) of each student were recorded. The students were also required to complete a 1,600 meters run or walk for cardiorespiratory endurance test, body fat percentage test and answered children's leisure activities study survey (CLASS). One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) analyze showed, a significant difference in physical activity among children from different income level of a family. Besides, it showed no significant difference in maximal volume oxygen consumption (V02max), body mass index, and skinfold thickness among children from different income level of a family. As a conclusion, in order to increase participation in physical activity among school children, the parents and teachers need to encourage school children to get involved in physical activity, such as parents do some exercise with their children rather than watching television.
