Kajian ini melibatkan 159 orang kanak-kanak TASKA Yayasan Pembangunan Keluarga Negeri Terengganu (YPKT). Subjek kajian diagihkan mengikut TASKA masing-masing kepada kumpulan rawatan dan kumpulan kawalan. Instrumen kajian yang digunakan merupakan soal selidik analisis keperluan, borang penilaian KitAB Cerdas, borang maklumat tahap literasi awal kanak-kanak dan soalan ujian pra/pasca untuk kemahiran bacaan awal. Selain daripada itu, data kualitatif dikutip melalui analisis dokumen dan rakaman video semasa penggunaan KitAB Cerdas. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan ujian MANCOVA, Ujian-t dan Korelasi Pearson sementara perisian ATLAS.ti digunakan untuk menganalisis pemerhatian melalui rakaman video. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa KitAB Cerdas berkesan secara signifikan dalam membantu pencapaian bacaan awal kanak-kanak TASKA untuk kesemua sub-kemahiran yang dikaji, terutama untuk sub-kemahiran bacaan suku kata dan perkataan bermakna. KitAB Cerdas juga berkesan dalam menarik minat dan penglibatan aktif kanak-kanak serta dapat merangsang kecerdasan pelbagai dalam diri kanak-kanak. Selanjutnya dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kemahiran literasi awal dengan kemahiran bacaan awal. Selain daripada itu, dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan bahawa tidak terdapat pengaruh jantina ke atas pencapaian bacaan awal kanak-kanak melalui penggunaan KitAB Cerdas. Secara keseluruhannya dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa KitAB Cerdas telah dibangunkan secara sistematik dan berkesan dalam membantu pencapaian bacaan awal kanak-kanak tanpa melibatkan unsur bias gender. Kajian ini telah memberi implikasi bahawa penggunaan KitAB Cerdas dapat memberi impak yang positif kepada pengajaran dan pembelajaran literasi kanak-kanak. |
