Bahagian B,Perceived Social Support Questionnaire (PSS-Q) dan bahagian C, Depression AnxietyStress Scale (DASS) digunakan dalam proses pengumpulan data. Dapatan kajianmenunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sokongan sosialdaripada keluarga terhadap kemurungan (r = -.36, p <.01) dan kebimbangan (r = -.32,p <.01). Selain itu, terdapat juga hubungan yang signifikan antara sokongan sosialdaripada keluarga (r = -.27, p <.01) dan jurulatih (r = -.21, p <.01) terhadap stres.Manakala, sokongan sosial daripada rakan tidak mempunyai hubungan yangsignifikan terhadap kemurungan (r = -.19, p <.01), kebimbangan (r = -.15, p <.05) danstres (r = -.14, p <.05). Kesimpulannya, sokongan sosial daripada keluarga sangatmempengaruhi status kemurungan (= -.34, p= .00), kebimbangan (= -.30, p= .00)dan stres (= -.22, p= .00) dalam kalangan atlet pelajar. Selain itu, sokongan sosialdaripada jurulatih juga mempengaruhi status stres (= -.13, p= .04) dalam kalanganatlet pelajar. Implikasi kajian ini dapat memberi input kepada keluarga dan jurulatihtentang kewujudan masalah kesihatan mental dalam kalangan atlet pelajar. Keluargadan jurulatih seharusnya menyedari peningkatan masalah ini serta membantu atletpelajar mengatasinya secara berkesan.
