Summary:This research aimed at studying Arabic writing skill among Chinese students at Ningxia University.This research relied on the curriculum to collect the conditions of the writing skillfor students, the rescale how to rely on the questionnaire distributed to the students, thus, theinductive and descriptive will become the approach of the both methods. The survey methodwas used and data were collected from 100 students. The results of the studying it shows that foursections about problems of writing skill: first, the arrangement of writing curriculum;Second, the conditions of writing skill of students; Third, the ability of writing skill;Fourth, the position of writing skill, students learn the writing skill and teach the writing skillof the teachers. These results show that students are weak in the writing skills style and lackingpractice in writing. In addition, students do not understand the practice that they wrote. However,students do not have sufficient time for the learning of writing skills, they are influenced by theChinese writing style. In conclusion, it is found that students are weak in writing and how areinfluenced by the mother tongue. Hence, it is suggested the writing courses need to focus on theaspect of students writing so as not to be influenced by the mother tongue.
