Reka bentuk kuasi eksperimen telah digunakan dalam kajian ini.Pemilihan adalah secara rawak 52 subjek yang mengambil mata pelajaran Sains menggunakan teknikkumpulan kawalan tidak setara ujian pra/ujian pasca (non-equivalent control group pretest/posttest)yang melibatkan dua buah kelas terpilih daripada tujuh buah kelas tingkatan satu yangmempunyai pencapaian sederhana di sebuah sekolah di daerah Kuala Selangor. Subjek-subjekkajian ini terbahagi kepada 28 orang murid kumpulan eksperimen dan 24 orang murid kumpulankawalan yang terlibat dalam lapan minggu kajian. Dua jenis instrumen kajian yang telahdisahkan oleh tiga orang pakar digunakan iaitu ujian spatial PSVT:R dan ujian pencapaian bagi topiksel. Manakala instrumen soal selidik menggunakan item-item yang diadaptasi daripada ModelPenerimaan Teknologi dengan nilai alpha Cronbach =.87. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakanstatistik deskriptif dan statistik inferens yang melibatkan ujian-t bebas dan ANCOVAsatu hala. Hasil ujian-t menunjukkan perbezaan yang signifikan [t(50)=2.24;p
