Fasa analisis keperluan menggunakan kaedahtemubual secara kumpulan berfokus ke atas 10 orang guru manakala fasa kedua melibatkan10 orang pakar bagi kesahan kandungan modul dan 31 orang guru untuk menilai kebolehpercayaanmodul. Fasa ke tiga melibatkan data pemerhatian ke atas enam orang kanak-kanak dan temubualke atas empat orang guru di dua buah kelas tadika. Dapatan analisis keperluan telah mengenalpastiempat tema iaitu (1) kesediaan emosi dan sosial adalah keperluan kanak-kanak semasa awal tahun, (2)masalah awal tahun ialah berkaitan pengurusan emosi, pengurusan sosial dan pengurusan diri, (3)guru menggunakan kaedah yang menyeronokkan untuk pengajaran pada awal tahun dan (4) ciri-cirimodul yang diharapkan adalah ringkas, mudah difahami serta mengikut keperluan terkini. Sebanyak 13aktiviti berbentuk nyanyian telah melalui kesahan pakar iaitu 90.0 untuk kesahan kandungandan 0.98 untuk kebolehpercayaan modul menggunakan Alpha Croanbachs. Dapatanmenunjukkan aktiviti nyanyian dalam Modul My KAPS membantu kanak-kanak mengurus emosi selainmembina kemahiran bersosial. Selain itu, aktiviti nyanyian turut membantu guru memperkenalperaturan baru, penerapan nilai-nilai murni, sebagai amalan rutin bilik darjah, serta merancangpengajaran dan pentaksiran untuk Tunjang Keterampilan Diri. Selain itu Modul My KAPS bukansahaja berkesan dalam penerapan kemahiran sosioemosi kanak-kanak prasekolah pada awaltahun malah turut membantu menyelesaikan masalah guru sepanjang tahun. Oleh itu, ModulMy KAPS sesuai dijadikan modul transisi yang pertama di Malaysia dalam memperkenalkankemahiran sosioemosi sebagai keperluankanak-kanak ketika memulakan pengalaman mereka ke sekolah. |
