Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan ialah borang soalselidik. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensi. Analisisdeskriptif menjelaskan sumber, aktiviti dan tahap kepuasan pengajaran guru, manakalastatistik inferensi pula melibatkan ujian-t dan ANOVA yang menerangkan perbezaandalam pembolehubah penilaian. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahawa sumber yangdigunakan dalam PITO dan aktiviti yang dijalankan dalam PITO menyumbang ke arahpeningkatan pengetahuan dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah dan kemahiran guru dalam PdPSejarah. Dapatan penilaian juga menunjukkan tahap kepuasan guru bukan opsyenmeningkat setelah mengikuti PITO Sejarah ini. Analisis ujian-t yang dijalankan jugamenunjukkan tiada perbezaan yang signifikan antara kemahiran pengajaran danpembelajaran guru berdasarkan jantina dan tempoh perkhidmatan guru. Manakala ujianANOVA juga menunjukkan tiada perbezaan yang signifikan dalam min tahap kepuasanpengajaran guru berdasarkan jantina dan pengalaman mengajar dalam mata pelajaranSejarah. Implikasi penilaian ini menunjukkan guru-guru bukan opsyen Sejarah yangtelah mengikuti PITO Sejarah ini telah menguasai pelbagai pengetahuan dan kemahiranberkaitan dengan perancangan, pengajaran dan pembelajaran mata pelajaran Sejarah,selain itu juga meningkatkan tahap kepuasan guru dalam melaksanakan pdp Sejarah dibilik darjah dari segi peningkatan minat guru terhadap Sejarah, peningkatan kepakarandalam pdp, peningkatan kemahiran dan perubahan tingkah laku murid kearah yanglebih positif terhadap mata pelajaran Sejarah. Kesimpulan menunjukkan PITO Sejarahtelah dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan kepuasan guru dalampengajaran dan pembelajaran Sejarah.
