Peserta kajian terdiri daripada 9 orang muridmewakili 9 buah sekolah berbeza di Semenanjung Malaysia. Instrumen kajian terdiri daripadaprotokol temu bual, borang pemerhatian dan analisis dokumen. Proses triangulasi dijalankanterhadap tiga jenis data empirikal yang dikumpul melalui temu bual, pemerhatian dan analisisdokumen. Penilaian motivasi dilakukan menggunakan Teori Motivasi ARCS Keller yangmerangkumi empat elemen utama: Perhatian (Attention), Kaitan (Relevance), Keyakinan(Confidence) dan Kepuasan (Satisfaction). Dapatan utama temu bual menunjukkan peserta kajianbersetuju bahawa mereka teruja dengan kehadiran pelukis profesional dan ini dapatmeningkatkan motivasi mereka untuk berkarya. Berdasarkan pemerhatian pula, fenomenakolaborasi pelukis dan sekolah telah memupuk perhatian dan minat murid terhadap PendidikanSeni Visual (PSV). Dapatan analisis dokumen pula menunjukkan secara umumnya, lakaran muridmemaparkan keyakinan mereka untuk berkarya menggunakan kreativiti dan imaginasi.Keterujaan murid melalui kehadiran artis ke sekolah, membuka ruang kreativiti yang lebih luasdi dalam menghasilkan karya. Murid didapati lebih berkeyakinan setelah mempelajari kemahirandan teknik melukis baharu melalui galakan artis terlibat. Kesimpulannya, kolaborasi ini mampumenjadi pencetus motivasi positif murid serta melahirkan legasi seni dalam kalangan generasimuda. Implikasinya, hasil kajian menunjukkan program Artists in Schools berjaya menarikperhatian dan memupuk motivasi murid maka program ini boleh dilaksanakan di lain-laininstitusi pendidikan.
