Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kuasi eksperimen. Ujian pra dan pasca telahdigunakan untuk mengukur kekuatan otot di mana ujian 1- Ulangan Maksima (1-RM) sebelumdan selepas intervensi dijalankan. Intervensi untuk kumpulan unilateral dan bilateraldijalankan selama enam minggu. Ujian MANOVA digunakan untuk membandingkan kekuatan otot(1-RM) dan untuk menentukan kesan intervensi antara kumpulan. Dapatan ujian MANOVA menunjukkan tiada perbezaan yang signifikan ujian pra di antara tiga kumpulan.Namun terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan min ujian pasca antara kumpulan. Min ujian pascakumpulan kawalan bagi kekuatan unilateral pasca (M = 18.43 kg, SP = 0.13) dan bilateral pasca (M =18.34 kg, SP = 0.13) adalah lebih rendah daripada min ujian pasca kumpulan unilateral bagi kekuatanunilateral pasca (M = 25.41 kg, SP = 0.14) dan bilateral pasca (M = 25.41 kg, SP = 0.14) serta minujian pasca kumpulan bilateral bagi kekuatan unilateral pasca (M = 24.92 kg, SP = 0.33) danbilateral pasca (M = 24.92 kg, SP = 0.33).
