Elektromiografi (EMG) digunakan untuk mengukur aktiviti otot semasa melakukansenaman squat manakala tapisan pergerakan Movement Competency Screen (MCS) pula digunakansebagai kriteria untuk mengukur prestasi perlakuan teknik squat yang betul. Tempoh intervensidijalankan selama enam minggu. ANOVA 3 kumpulan (arahan TD, arahan TL, kawalan) x 3 jenisotot (vastus lateralis, bicep femoris, gluteus maximus) digunakan untuk menganalisis perbezaanbacaan EMG pada otot yang terlibat mengikut kumpulan pada ujian pasca dan pengekalan. Ujianawal menunjukkan tiada perbezaan signifikan bagi ketiga-tiga kumpulan semasa ujian pra. Dapatanutama kajian menunjukkan bahawa TL memberi kesan yang signifikan dan lebih baik daripada TD dankawalan terhadap ketiga-tiga aktiviti otot. Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan terdapat interaksi antara kumpulan dengan otot dalam ujian pengekalan, F(4,66)=10.439,p
