Kajian kuasi eksperimen ini melibatkan 75 responden staf sokongan perkhidmatan Pendidikan di Kolej Matrikulasi Labuan yang dipilih secara persampelan rawak bertujuan. Responden dibahagikan secara rawak kepada kumpulan rawatan (25 lelaki dan 25 perempuan) dan kumpulan kawalan (25 lelaki dan perempuan). Data ujian pra dan ujian pasca dikutip menggunakan Instrumen Profesionalisme Perkhidmatan Awam (IPPA) yang telah dibangunkan untuk kajian ini. Data kuantitatif dianalisis secara deskritif dan inferensi berdasarkan min, Ujian-t, MANCOVA dan Post Hoc Tukey pada aras signifikan 0.05. Hasil kajian menunjukkan modul pementoran berkesan secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi pada nilai t(1,49) = -32.18(p <0.05), profesinalisme t(1,49) = -26.85 (p <.05), integriti t(1,49) = -26.87 (p <.05) dan penampilan diri t(1,49) = -41.325 (p <.05) kumpulan rawatan berbanding kumpulan kawalan. Hasil kajian juga mendapati modul pementoran berkesan secara signifikan terhadap kompetensi pada nilai F(1,74) = 17.32(p <.05), profesionalisme pada nilai F(1,74) = 13.92(p <.05) dan penampilan diri pada nilai F(1,74) = 5.17(p <.05) antara kumpulan rawatan berdasarkan jantina berbanding kumpulan kawalan. Hasil kajian juga turut menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbezaan signifikan kesan rawatan berdasarkan jantina terhadap kompetensi, profesionalisme dan penampilan diri berdasarkan ujian pasca. Kesimpulannya, kajian ini menunjukkan modul pementoran berkesan secara signifikan terhadap kesemua pembolehubah bersandar terutamanya kompetensi, profesionalisme dan penampilan diri dalam kalangan subjek kajian, serta faktor jantina tidak mempengaruhi kesan rawatan terhadap pembolehubah bersandar. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa modul pementoran boleh diguna pakai untuk meningkatkan kualiti perkhidmatan bagi pegawai perkhidmatan pendidikan di Malaysia khususnya dan semua peringkat perkhidmatan awam secara umumnya. |
