Oleh itu, kajianini direkabentuk untuk menganalisis hubungan diantara bidang tumpuan di dalam ProgramPembangunan PKS terhadap kejayaan PKS di Negeri Perak. Bidang tumpuan utama yang dikenalpasti dapatmemberikan input dan hasil yang positif adalah program akses kepada pembangunan modal insan,program akses kepada pembiayaan, dan program akses kepada pasaran yang dianjurkan oleh SMECorporation dan agensi-agensi yang berkaitan. Kajian ini juga bertujuan menentukan peranan pembolehubah pengantara iaitu orientasi keusahawanan ke atas hubungan-hubungan diantara program pembangunan PKS dengan prestasi PKS di Perak. Rekabentuk tinjauan kuantitatiftelah digunakan dan data telah dipungut daripada 304 PKS dari sektor pembuatan,perkhidmatan, dan lain-lain yang meliputi 12 Daerah di Negeri Perak yang berdaftar dengan SMECorp. Kajian ini juga menggunakan teknik persampelan rawak bersistematik. Analisis statistiktelah dijalankan untuk menguji hipotesis-hipotesis kajian dengan menggunakan perisian statistikStatistical Package for the Social Sciences version23.0. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisa deskriptif, korelasi, dan regresi.Dapatan kajian menunjukkan wujud hubungan signifikan dan positif di antara program pembangunanPKS dan kejayaan PKS, dan orientasi keusahawanan dengan kejayaan PKS di Perak. Analisaregresi menunjukkan pembolehubah orientasi keusahawanan adalah mediator yang signifikanpositif dan memberi kesan perubahan sebanyak 31% (R2=0.31) secara statistik. Secarakesimpulannya, kajian ini adalah selaras dengan kehendak kerajaan bagi memastikan setiap PKSditerapkan dengan ilmu keusahawanan yang betul melalui program pembangunan PKS yangdijalankan, manakala orientasi keusahawanan mewujudkan kemampuan untuk lebih proaktif, berdayasaing, inovasi, dan berani menghadapi risiko seterusnya dapat meningkatkan kejayaan PKS di Perak.Kata Kunci: Program Pembangunan PKS, Orientasi Keusahawanan, KejayaanPerniagaan, Pengantara dan PKS
