Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk pembangunan berasaskan model ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate) dan kaedahkuasi eksperimental. Seramai 373 orang pelajar Program Matrikulasi Satu Tahun dari tiga buah kolejmatrikulasi telah dipilih secara rawak berstrata sebagai responden kajian ini. Data dikumpulkanmenggunakan tiga set instrumen iaitu Soal Selidik Kebolehgunaan Modul MI-EM, UAE dan SoalSelidik Sikap Terhadap Pembelajaran Fizik (STPF). Data dianalisis secara deskriptif daninferensi menerusi Ujian-t, Ujian Anova, Ujian Korelasi Phi dan Ujian Spearmans Rho.Melalui kajian ini, Modul MI-EM berjaya dibangunkan dan mempunyai kesahan yang baik (I-CVI =0.92) serta nilai peratus persetujuan kebolehgunaan yang memuaskan, 82.9%. Dapatankajian juga menunjukkan bahawa terdapat perbezaan pencapaian UAE yang signifikan antarakumpulan yang berbeza modul pembelajaran kendiri (t(371) = .045). Namun perbezaan pencapaian UAEadalah tidak signifikan bagi kelompok pelajar yang berbeza sikap (F(1,371) = .123). Seterusnya,perhubungan yang lemah telah dikenal pasti antara; (i) sikap pra dengan sikap pasca ( (373) =.321), dan(ii) perubahan sikap dengan kategori pencapaian UAE (r (373) = .223). Kesimpulannya, kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa penggunaan Modul MI-EM dapat menyokong pembelajaran secara kendiri dan membantu meningkatkan pencapaian pelajar matrikulasi dalam topik Aruhan Elektromagnet. Selain itu, kajian yang lebih komprehensif di kalangan pelajarmatrikulasi perlu dilakukan bagi menggalakkanpembelajaran secara kendiri dan interaktif terutamanya dalam subjek Fizik.
