Summary: | The aim of this study is to determine the effect of learning styles and thinking styles on softskills of accounting students and mediating role of academic achievement in selecteduniversities. Sternbergs theory of mental self-government and Flemings theory of VAK wereapplied and the Barsch Learning Styles Inventory and Sternberg Thinking Styles Inventory instrumentwas used to assess students learning styles and thinking styles as well as Malaysian SoftSkills Scale instrument were used to measure graduates soft skill attainment level. Samplefor this study consists of 306 undergraduate accounting students chosen randomly from UM, UPM andUTAR and the data were analysed using SPSS software. A quantitative approach throughquestionnaire method was carried out to gather the data.
