description <p>Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneroka perspektif ibu bapa mengenai permasalahan buli anak-anak, khususnya di peringkat sekolah rendah. Reka bentuk constructivist grounded theory telah digunakan bagi menjawab persoalan tentang definisi yang ibu bapa berikan terhadap perlakuan buli, cara mereka mendepani permasalahan buli anak- anak, dan teori substantif yang dapat dibina daripada pengalaman tersebut. Melalui teknik temu bual separa berstruktur menggunakan vignet situasi hipotetikal, pengkaji telah menemu bual 29 orang peserta yang dipilih secara pensampelan bola salji. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan pengekodan awal dan pengekodan terfokus yang diperkenalkan oleh Charmaz, didapati ibu bapa mentakrifkan buli sebagai perbuatan mengganggu atau menindas orang yang lebih lemah sehingga memberi kesan negatif terhadap mangsa sama ada secara fizikal atau psikologikal. Dapatan juga menunjukkan bahawa ibu bapa menggunakan pelbagai strategi seperti pendekatan berbentuk agresif, asertif, dan empati bagi menyelesaikan permasalahan buli yang dihadapi oleh anak- anak mereka. Dari segi pembinaan teori substantif, pengkaji menemui tujuh tema utama daripada data, iaitu pengalaman, pengetahuan, perspektif, nilai dan sikap, strategi menangani, serta hasil intervensi ibu bapa terhadap insiden buli. Hubung kait antara setiap tema ini membentuk satu model yang pengkaji namakan sebagai Model Perspektif Ibu Bapa Mengenai Permasalahan Buli Anak-anak. Model ini mencadangkan satu proses berbentuk kitaran tentang bagaimana ibu bapa mentafsirkan perlakuan buli, seterusnya menterjemahkan cara pemikiran mereka melalui nilai, sikap dan perbuatan. Kesimpulannya, perspektif ibu bapa merupakan kunci utama terhadap strategi daya tindak permasalahan buli anak-anak. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan teori substantif dan model yang telah dibina memberi manfaat, khususnya kepada guru bimbingan dan kaunseling dalam melaksanakan program intervensi terhadap murid yang terlibat dengan permasalahan buli.</p>
