Kajian ini turut mengkaji perbezaan araskepintaran emosi guru besar dan gaya kepimpinan transformasi guru besar berdasarkankepada faktor jantina, umur dan tempoh perkhidmatan. Kesan interaksi antara araskepintaran emosi dan aras gaya kepimpinan tranformasi juga dianalisa. Kajian inidilaksanakan dengan kaedah tinjauan secara keratan rentas dimana sampel dipilih secarapersampelan berkelompok melibatkan 746 orang guru besar daripada 3 zon kajian diseluruh Malaysia. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur aras kepintaran emosigaya kepimpinan transformasi guru besar adalah instrumen soal selidik yang dibina khasiaitu EQ HeadLIST (Emotional Quotient Headmaster Transformational LeadershipInstrument). Manakala pengukuran skor penilaian prestasi sekolah adalah melaluiinstrumen Standard Kualiti Pendidikan Malaysia (SKPM). Data dianalisis menggunakananalisis ujian-t, anova sehala dan regresi berganda. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawaterdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dalam aras gaya kepimpinan transformasi guru besarberdasarkan kepada faktor jantina iaitu [ t = -1.927; p = 0.05 0.05 ]. Manakala dapatankajian bagi hubungan diantara aras kepintaran emosi dan aras gaya kepimpinantransformasi terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan iaitu [ r = 0.504; p = 0.00 |
