Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan</p><p>kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk kajian tinjauan dan melibatkan seramai 210 orang</p><p>murid Tingkatan Empat dari empat buah sekolah menengah luar bandar di daerah</p><p>Daro, Sarawak yang telah dipilih secara rawak berstrata. Instrumen yang digunakan</p><p>dalam kajian ini ialah Inventori Kesedaran Metakognisi (MAI) yang dibangunkan</p><p>oleh Schraw dan Dennison pada tahun 1994 yang terdiri daripada 52 item untuk</p><p>mengkaji elemen-elemen metakognisi iaitu pengetahuan deklaratif, pengetahuan</p><p>prosedural, pengetahuan kondisional, perancangan, strategi pengurusan maklumat,</p><p>pemantauan kefahaman, strategi debugging dan penilaian. Pencapaian akademik</p><p>murid sekolah menengah luar bandar diukur menggunakan purata gred calon dalam</p><p>Sistem Analisis Peperiksaan Sekolah (SAPS). Data yang dikumpul dianalisis secara</p><p>deskriptif dan inferensi. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan kesedaran metakognisi dan</p><p>pencapaian akademik murid menengah sekolah luar bandar berada pada tahap</p><p>sederhana. Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan bahawa strategi pengurusan maklumat</p><p>dan penilaian mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan pencapaian akademik</p><p>murid sekolah menengah luar bandar. Kesimpulannya, kesedaran metakognisi dan</p><p>pencapaian akademik murid sekolah menengah luar bandar masih perlu ditingkatkan.</p><p>Di samping itu, strategi pengurusan maklumat dan penilaian didapati memainkan</p><p>peranan dalam meningkatkan pencapaian akademik murid sekolah menengah luar</p><p>bandar. Sebagai implikasi, pengajaran yang menekankan pembinaan kesedaran</p><p>metakognisi dan pencapaian akademik murid perlu dilaksanakan. Selain itu, murid</p><p>sekolah menengah luar bandar juga perlu didedahkan dengan strategi-strategi</p><p>pengurusan maklumat dan kemahiran penilaian sebagai usaha meningkatkan</p><p>pencapaian akademik mereka.</p> |
