Summary:<p>Employees are considered as the backbone of the organization and their performance</p><p>can help in achieving organizational strategic objectives. The objective of the study is</p><p>to analyse the moderating effect of organisational culture in relationship between</p><p>workplace learning and employee performance in the UAE. This led to the contribution</p><p>of new knowledge about workplace learning and job performances especially on topics</p><p>of formal and information learning, and performances related to tasks and contextual.</p><p>The study explained the role of training and development on employees performances</p><p>to improve the quality of task process. An empirical study was conducted, and data was</p><p>collected through questionnaire from sample of 384 employees from the public sector</p><p>organisations. The data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS and analysis methods</p><p>of correlation and SEM are performed. The study found that formal learning has</p><p>statistically significant relationship with task performance ( = 0.429, < 0.05), and</p><p>contextual performance ( = 0.233, < 0.05) but insignificant relationship with</p><p>counterproductive work behaviour ( = - 0.033, > 0.05). The study further indicated</p><p>that the informal have direct and positive impact on task performance ( = 0.247, <</p><p>0.05), and contextual performance ( = 0.247, < 0.05). It also discovered a positive</p><p>relationship between result-oriented culture with task performance ( = 0.401, <</p><p>0.05). Furthermore, it concluded that the moderating effect of innovation ( = 0.246, </p><p>< 0.05), communication ( = 0.399, < 0.05), and people-oriented culture ( = 0.319,</p><p> < 0.05) on the relationship between formal learning and task performance is</p><p>significant. The study provided evidenced-based findings about the relationship</p><p>between workplace learning and employees performance in UAE and it is addition to</p><p>the existing literature, as well as a material of reference for policy makers.</p>
