Kajian ini berbentuk true experimental pre and post control group design.Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 240 murid yang telah dipilih berdasarkan kaedah ‘intact sampling’iaitu dalam keadaan di mana semua murid yang terdapat dalam lapan buah kelas dalam darjah lima (5)di empat buah sekolah dikekalkan sebagai subjek kajian. Subjek kajian seterusnya dibahagikan kepadakumpulan rawatan (n=120) dan kumpulan kawalan (n=120) secara rawak. Data dianalisis denganmenggunakan ANCOVA Dua Hala. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan skor min pasca antarakumpulan rawatan dengan kumpulan kawalan bagi peratus lemak badan [F(1,117) = 668.092, p < .05],tahap kardiovaskular [F(1,117) = 232.30, p < .05] dan minat terhadap aktiviti fizikal [F(1,117) =175.485, p < .05] yang signifikan bagi murid lelaki selepas menjalani Program SPARK. Dapatan kajianjuga menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan skor min pasca bagi peratus lemak badan [F(1,117) = 628.166, p< .05], tahap kardiovaskular [F(1,117) = 2279.920, p < .05] dan minat terhadap aktiviti fizikal[F(1,117) = 363.741, p < .05] yang signifikan antara kumpulan rawatan dengan kumpulan kawalan bagimurid perempuan selepas menjalani Program SPARK. Kesimpulannya, Program SPARK memberikan perubahanyang positif dan signifikan kepada murid-murid yang menerima intervensi program berbanding kumpulanmurid- murid yang mengikuti kelas Pendidikan Jasmani seperti biasa. Implikasi kajian menunjukkanbahawa penggunaan Program SPARK dapat menarik minat murid- murid untuk mengambil bahagian dalam aktiviti fizikal seterusnya dapat meningkatkan tahap prestasi kecergasan fizikal dalam kalangan murid-murid. |
