description <p>Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sikap masyarakat kawasan Majlis Perbandaran</p><p>Segamat mengasingkan sisa pepejal mengikut amalan pengasingan sisa di punca.</p><p>Seramai 377 orang responden yang menetap di sekitar bandar Segamat dipilih sebagai</p><p>responden kajian. Data dikumpul menggunakan kaedah persampelan rawak mudah</p><p>melalui borang soal selidik dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Secara</p><p>keseluruhannya, tahap pengetahuan masyarakat tentang amalan Pengasingan Sisa di</p><p>Punca berada di tahap tinggi iaitu min=4.54 dan sisihan piawai=0.54, dan sikap</p><p>masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan amalan pengasingan sisa di punca juga berada di tahap</p><p>yang tinggi iaitu min=4.61 dan sisihan piawai=0.38 serta kesan amalan pengasingan</p><p>sisa di punca terhadap kesejahteraan alam sekitar dan manusia juga berada di tahap</p><p>yang tinggi iaitu min=4.57 dan sisihan piawai=0.36. Dapatan kajian juga</p><p>menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan masyarakat</p><p>tentang amalan pengasingan sisa di punca dengan kesejahteraan alam sekitar dengan</p><p>nilai korelasi r=0.871. Seterusnya, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara</p><p>pengetahuan masyarakat tentang amalan pengasingan sisa di punca dengan</p><p>kesejahteraan manusia dengan nilai korelasi r=0.871. Oleh itu, dapat dirumuskan</p><p>bahawa wujud hubungan signifikan tinggi antara pengetahuan masyarakat tentang</p><p>amalan pengasingan sisa di punca dengan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan alam sekitar.</p><p>Secara kesimpulannya, amalan pengasingan sisa di punca ini dapat mengubah sikap</p><p>masyarakat dalam masalah pengurusan sisa pepejal yang berlaku di sekitar Majlis</p><p>Perbandaran Segamat. Implikasi kajian ini ialah dapat dijadikan garis panduan bagi</p><p>Majlis Perbandaran Segamat dan Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan yang lain dalam</p><p>mengatasi isu pengurusan sisa dengan melahirkan kawasan yang bebas daripada</p><p>pencemaran. Pada masa yang sama, proses pengurusan sisa pepejal dapat berjalan</p><p>dengan lancar tanpa menjejaskan masyarakat dan alam sekitar di sekelilingnya.</p>
