Kajian ini</p><p>berbentuk tinjauan kuantitatif yang dijalankan di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur</p><p>dengan menggunakan instrumen soal selidik bagi mengumpul data yang diperlukan.</p><p>Seramai 234 orang guru telah dipilih dengan menggunakan kaedah persampelan secara</p><p>rawak. Soal selidik mempunyai tiga bahagian utama di mana bahagian A dalam soal</p><p>selidik merupakan bahagian demografi responden yang mengandungi 6 soalan utama</p><p>iaitu jantina, umur, tahap pendidikan, pengalaman mengajar secara keseluruhan,</p><p>pengalaman mengajar mata pelajaran Sains dan jawatan di sekolah bagi mengetahui</p><p>latar belakang responden. Setiap item dalam bahagian B,C mempunyai skala likert 1</p><p>hingga 5. Bahagian B bertujuan untuk meninjau tahap pengetahuan guru sains</p><p>mengenai PBP. Bahagian ini mengandungi 10 item. Seterusnya, bahagian C bertujuan</p><p>untuk meninjau tahap kemahiran penerapan PBP yang mengandungi 12 item. Hasil</p><p>analisis tahap pengetahuan n=234 (M=3.66, SP= .348) berada pada tahap tinggi. Tahap</p><p>kemahiran penerapan n=234 (M=3.81, SP= .22) juga berada pada tahap tinggi. Analisis</p><p>korelasi Pearson melaporkan bahawa terdapat satu korelasi positif yang rendah yang</p><p>signifikan antara tahap pengetahuan PBP guru dengan tahap kemahiran penerapan PBP</p><p>guru (r = .457, n = 234, p = .000). Ini bermakna dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan</p><p>PBP guru, kemahiran penerapan PBP mereka akan dapat ditingkatkan. Kajian ini sangat</p><p>penting bagi menentukan kaedah latihan yang perlu diberikan kepada guru untuk</p><p>membangunkan kemahiran penerapan kaedah PBP di dalam bilik darjah.</p>
