| 总结: | This study focuses on register in the field of politics, and attempts to compare the
register between two websites: Aljazeera and Bernama using the descriptive and
analytical methods. The register differs according to the fields, and is different from
the language style. This research which is included in the sociolinguistic is
concentrating on words or vocabularies because they are the main signs in register. As
the research aims to define register, its concepts, features and signs. The importance of
the study lays on proving that one register can not be used in various fields and to ease
the translation of the written text into other languages of the world. The researcher
concluded that the vocabularies play an important role in confirming the intended
meaning; some synonymic words were repeated to avoid boring by using same words
and some for lexical objective. |
