| الملخص: | The main purpose of this study is to examine Qur´anic discourses which were
revealed to the wives of Prophet Muhammad SAW. This study explains the
importance of the Qur´anic discourses which cover the rules of life and also
educational messages which contain therein. This study also examines the Qur´anic
ways and methods which had guided the wives of the Prophet which would be helpful
for Muslim women today. Several approaches were used in this study, namely
historical and Qur´anic analytical approaches. References were made to history and
well known books on tafsir and hadith. The comparative approach was also used in
this study in order to compare the specific verses intended specifically for the wives of
the prophet and verses for both Muslim ladies and the Prophet’s wives in general. This
study also attempts to resolve issues confronting today’s Muslim ladies in accordance
with Qur´Énic education, particularly the verses which were intended for the Prophet’s
wives. This study hopes to provide insights into how Muslim woman today could
interpret Qur´anic injunctions on woman in general by comparing Qur´anic verses
which deal with woman in general and verses which deal with the Prophet’s wives
specifically. |
