520 |a The main purpose of this study to investigate students' achievement in learning Arabic vocabulary via WhatsApp Program among non-native Arabic students. In addition, it aims to identify the participation of students in learning Arabic vocabulary through mobile learning as well as the effectiveness of WhatsApp Program, its advantages and disadvantages. The participants of this study were 30 students from the Center for Languages and Pre-University Academic Development (CELPAD) at the International Islamic University Malaysia. The study was conducted by using experimental and analytical methodologies. The results indicate that the students' achievement had increased after using the program. However, the average mean shown by the experimental group was higher than the controlled group's. The study also discovers the participation of students in learning Arabic vocabulary through mobile learning was at a natural level. In terms of effectiveness of the WhatsApp, the mean score was 3.58 which was close to intermediate level and indicates the agreement level in general. Finally, the researcher suggests some recommendations for future studies on learning Arabic vocabulary through mobile learning via one instant messaging program that is WhatsApp Program.
