| 总结: | This study is a comprehensive research on the notion of religious plurality from the point of view of Jalal al-Din al-Rumi (a Persian poet) in his book al-Mathnawi al-Manawi. Textual analyses of his poems in the field of religious diversity in al-Mathnawi and its interpretations were conducted. This research is relied on resources from the library such as books, journal articles, and other publications. This study then criticizes and evaluates the contemporaries' paraphrases of al-Mathnawi regarding religious plurality. Finally, this study approaches the contradicted interpretations and refutes the misgivings and doubts related to al-Rumi with regard to his book al-Mathnawi. In summary, Jalal al-Din al-Rumi is not with the notion of religious pluralism. However, he is among the adherents of religious coexistence yet does not acknowledge the authenticity and trueness of other religions; rather he proves and affirms that Islam is the true religion, the last prophet is Muhammad (pbuh) and the only authentic book is al-Quran. |
