The focus was on three types of benefits viz., personal benefits of training, career benefits of training, and job-relation of training. It also sought to investigate whether affective commitment plays a role as a mediator between personal benefits of training, career benefits of training, and job-relation of training and work performance. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between all three types of training benefits and work performance. However, there was no significant relationship between career benefits of training and job-related of training and affective commitment. There was no significant relationship also between affective commitment and work performance. Hence, affective commitment does not play the role as a mediator between the relationship of training benefits (personal benefits of training, career benefits of training, and job-relation of training) and work performance 2012 Thesis https://eprints.ums.edu.my/id/eprint/10304/ https://eprints.ums.edu.my/id/eprint/10304/1/mt0000000556.pdf text en public masters Universiti Malaysia Sabah School of Business and Economics
