| 總結: | Fort Alice is a historic building in Charles Brooke regime in Sarawak for long time ago. To maintain the condition of Fort Alice, the conservation process has been carried out to ensure the maintenance of the structure, design and architecture of the Fort Alice. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the conservation project operation and the conservation process applied in the conservation of Fort Alice project. The study also highlight the importance of the new development of Fort Alice as a heritage museum in Sri Aman. Data collected using a qualitative methods through an interviews with the experts in the field of museum management and conservator of heritage buildings. The results show that the conservation management of Fort Alice account all aspects of cultural significance without emphasizing that may bring losses to anyone. The implications of this study is demonstrate the conservation of Fort Alice as a significant to ensure the heritage buildings in Sarawak continue to be maintained in order not threatened by any destruction. |
