The image of imams in Malaysia has become a common image because imams do not pass the level of effective leadership among the mosque management or at the level of receiving congregations. Therefore, the position of imams in Malaysia is considered not very important and the job status as an imam is the subject of research for example in terms of education level, salary status, EPF contribution and so on. This study will look at the structured model of imam competence for someone who has been called an imam. Based on the content analysis of the model, it was found that this model needs to be applied to all levels of imams, especially in Malaysia in order to upgrade the quality and community acceptance of the imam's position in the mosque. Therefore, this model should be a reference in all levels of society and be a guideline for the authorities |
