The study aimed to identify the impact of modern strategic management on the
performance of human capital - through job quality of life - for employees of the
Ministry of Interior in the United Arab Emirates. The problem of the study lies in the
decline of human capital due to the weakness of modern strategic management and the
low level of job quality of life. The importance of the study lies in highlighting modern
strategic management and its role in the performance of human capital through job
quality of life. The study followed a descriptive-analytical approach to describe and
analyze the impact of modern strategic management on human capital using job quality
of life for employees of the Ministry of Interior. The study population consisted of 1684
employees of the Ministry of Interior, while the study sample included 313 employees.
The study found several results, including a statistically significant relationship between
modern strategic management and the performance of human capital, with a
significance level of less than 0.05. The path coefficient for the strategic planning axis
was 0.319, with a P-value of 0.002 and an impact percentage of 90.9%. The path
coefficient for the creativity and innovation axis was 0.293, with a P-value of 0.000 and
an impact percentage of 67.3%. The path coefficient for the organizational flexibility
axis was 0.091, with a P-value of 0.427 and an impact percentage of 94.8%. There is
also a statistically significant relationship between strategic management and job
quality of life for employees of the Ministry of Interior. The path coefficient for the
strategic planning axis was 0.350, with a P-value of 0.000. The path coefficient for the
creativity and innovation axis was 0.249, with a P-value of 0.000, and the path
coefficient for the organizational flexibility axis was 0.285, with a P-value of 0.001.
The impact of strategic management on job quality of life was 66.7%. The results
revealed a statistically significant relationship between job quality of life and the
performance of human capital in the Ministry of Interior. The path coefficient for the
enrichment axis was 0.130, with a P-value of 0.001. The path coefficient for the
incentives axis was 0.176, with a P-value of 0.002, and the path coefficient for the work
conditions axis was 0.065, with a P-value of 0.000. The impact percentage was 79.5%.
The results showed that job quality of life has a statistically significant impact on the
relationship between modern strategic management and the performance of human
capital for employees of the Ministry of Interior. The study recommended that the
Ministry of Interior play a major role in enhancing the role of human capital. The study
contributed academically by revealing the theoretical framework and theories used to
improve human capital, strategic management, and job quality of life. Additionally, the
study is beneficial to the Ministry of Interior . |
