Three independent variables were identified from the literature review expected to influence the interest in becoming the said instructors. The independent variables are additional jobs, lack of knowledge and less freedom. All independent variables were identified based on opinions by scholars such as Powers (1992), Hutching (1992), Zhu dan Liu (1989). Wan Azmi (1982), Good (1982), Collins (1988), Taylor (1966), Hill dan Clement (1960), Herriot (1995) dan Rogoff (1987). The instrument used in this study was a set of questionnaires which was self-administered and disseminated to 102 respondents and the return rate were 100%. The data obtained was analysed using "Statistical Package for Social Sciences" (SPSS) software. Through correlation analysis, additional works and lack of knowledge found to have a significant correlation at the confidence level of 99% or a = 0.01. Less freedom was also found to have a positve statistical correlation but at a lower confidence level which was 95% or a = 0.05.
